The new H-ligature holds the reed firmly to the table of the mouthpiece assuring better contact and therefore reducing leaks along the siderails. Additional support has been added to the ligature brackets to increase durablity.
The H-Ligature, modeled after the renown Harrison ligatures, mimics a design used by many of the world's greatest clarinetists and saxophonists. The structure and design of the Rico H-Ligature holds the reed firmly in place allowing more even contact with the table of the mouthpiece and reducing leaks along the sidewall. New reinforced brackets help to increase durability and longevity.
